Clearly this is a bizarre symptom of whatever is going on. I cannot understand how such a thing is possible, I thought touchpads only responded to pressure or something. I was not in contact with the surface of it yet the cursor moved as if it were but irratically. I noticed when the touchpad thought I was pressing 2 or 3 fingers that it actually responded to my finger when I hovered it over the touchpad. Their online parts search doesn't show it anywhere, I therefore cannot replace it myself if I wanted too. They simply did a recovery to the version of Windows 10 it came with but nothing else. I did RMA this to Lenovo but sadly they just wrote "Image Upgrade" as the problem since I'd upgraded to the Windversion. I am unable to find a fix as I've tried multiple drivers from Elan, the default being 11.4.96.1 but I located 11.4.101.1 and 11.4.105.2 I believe these are from the same series so are compatible. It will still act like this for awhile 2 mins or so. Elan Smart-Pad thinks I'm pressing 2 or 3 fingers down when I'm only using 1.
